Information We Collect
1. Local game data (stored on your device)
TowerStack stores game data locally using AsyncStorage. This data stays on your device and is required for the game to function. It includes:
- Game progress: best score, best floor reached, total floors, total play time
- Coins and in-game economy: total coins, power-up counts, purchase history
- Customization: selected skin, unlocked skins, discovered themes
- Daily rewards: streak count, last reward date
- Settings: sound, music volume, haptics enabled/disabled
- Tutorial and milestone flags
This local data is not encrypted by the app, but it is protected by your device's own security.
2. Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous gameplay and app-usage events. These events help us understand how players interact with TowerStack so we can improve the game.
Events may include:
- Session start/end and session duration
- First app open and day-1/3/7/30 return events
- Game started, game over, floor reached, new best floor, perfect drops
- Tutorial started and completed
- Coins earned/spent, power-ups purchased/used, skins purchased
- Daily rewards, daily challenge activity
- Rewarded and interstitial ad requests, loads, completions, and failures
We also set anonymous user properties such as highest floor reached, lifetime games played, lifetime coins, current world/theme, current skin, and total sessions. Firebase Analytics does not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
3. Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and non-fatal errors. This helps us identify and fix technical issues.
Crash reports may include:
- Device state at the time of the crash
- Stack traces and error messages
- Your anonymous Firebase Authentication UID (to group crashes by user)
- Custom keys such as the game screen or action that was active
4. Firebase Authentication
TowerStack uses Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account when you first launch the app. This gives you a random user ID (UID) that is used for cloud save and crash reporting.
We do not ask for your email address, phone number, or social media accounts. Google Sign-In is not enabled in this version of the app.
5. Firebase Cloud Firestore (Cloud Save)
We use Firebase Cloud Firestore to back up your game stats. This allows your progress to be restored if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
The cloud save contains the same game data stored locally (scores, coins, skins, settings, etc.) and is linked to your anonymous Firebase UID. It is merged with your local data on first launch using the most recent timestamp.
6. Google AdMob Advertising
TowerStack displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain data to serve and measure ads, including:
- Advertising ID (a user-resettable identifier)
- Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
- Approximate location (general area, not precise GPS)
- App interactions and ad impressions/clicks
- IP address
We show two types of ads:
- Rewarded ads: Optional ads you choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards
- Interstitial ads: Full-screen ads shown at natural breaks, such as returning to the menu or after a game over
You can remove ads through the in-app "Remove Ads" purchase. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings.
Permissions We Request
TowerStack requests only the following Android permissions:
- VIBRATE — to provide haptic feedback during gameplay
- MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS — to manage in-game audio volume
We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, or precise location.

We use the information described above to:
- Provide and maintain the game
- Save and restore your game progress
- Improve gameplay, balance, and features
- Diagnose and fix crashes and errors
